Svensk Mat ... Swedish Food

I will admit to falling in love with Stockholm. The city is clean, the architecture is stunning, and the food -- well, the food is simply delicious.

A night on the town my little crew found a boat on the river that served as a bar and had a simple restaurant. The main course had only three items on the menu. I appreciated the simplicity of the menu. A small ship in the harbor is hardly going to have the room to make a massive list of food.

Although the "beverages" menu was about four times the size of the main menu. I adore you Stockholm.

As we chatted with our waiter, we discovered that the boat was getting a new address next year when they started doing some road construction near the old central city. Convenient. Pick up anchor and move.

For my main dish, I ordered Char with an almond sauce covered on a bed of spinach. Infinitely better then the fish fry food served in the Midwest. In Wisconsin we have to import a good deal of fish, but to have them fresh is something I will always appreciate.

Dessert was the ooey-gooey goodness of brownie and a smidgen of raspberry sorbet. Ahhh...
